From Feeling Overwhelmed To Clear and Focused
I started in management during a time of major change — restructures, new leadership, and a lot of uncertainty. People were working hard, but were often not recognised. I naturally became the person others came to when things felt unclear or difficult. At one point I even joked, “Maybe I should become a company counsellor instead.” At the same time, I was working on the structure behind the scenes — improving systems, supporting teams, and contributing to profitability. Most of the complex challenges seemed to land on my desk.
What I kept noticing was simple: When people are seen and businesses are organised in a way that is aligned with their values — everything works better.
Later, I moved into career coaching and worked with hundreds of clients to help them find direction and make confident decisions.
After completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management, I co-ran a building company, where I contributed to business growth, both in profitability and project sizes.
What made the biggest difference wasn’t doing more — it was simplifying the structure of the business. That clarity made it easier to focus on what mattered over the next 4–8 weeks.
I have refined this approach and use it with my clients. It helps them to get their business out of their head and into a clear, simple structure — so they can stop overthinking and go their next steps with confidence.
